Mrs. Lois Forbis, 67, of Harisburg, died Saturday, March 13, 1999, at the family residence. Born in Marked Tree, she was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Helen Hosford and had lived in Harrisburg for the past 35 years. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann.
Surviving are her husband, Vernon "Red" Forbis of the home; one daughter, Joice Austin of Harrisburg; one son, Ricky Forbis of Trumann; one sister Joyce Dodd of Trumann; one brother Boyce Hosford of Phoenix, Ariz; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, March 16th at the Calvary Pentecostal Church in Trumann with Rev Boyd Hosman and Rev Eugene Lovern officiating. Burial was in Harrisburg Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Thompson Funeral Home of Trumann.
Active pallbearers were Mike Freeman, Gary Holmes, Kevin Beaumont, Mike Shannon, David Rogers and Danny Harper.
Honory pallbearers were L.A. Fowler, Ted Lancaster, Frank McElyea, George Presley, James Burger, Jimmie Everhart, Mike McDaniel, Tim Ferguson and Darrell Rains.
