CATLIN---BUKEY

Yesterday morning at 9:30 o'clock at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Bukey, in McPherson, occurred the marriage ceremony of Mr. A. D. Catlin, of this county to Miss Ruth Bukey. Mr. Catlin and Miss Bukey were students in Baker University together and graduated in the same class in 1909. Since then both have been engaged in teaching. Mr. Catlin has been spending the present vacation with his parents in this county. He left Monday for McPherson. Mr. and Mrs. Catlin are expected here tomorrow to spend a few days with relatives, after which they will go to Irving, Kansas, where Mr. Catlin has been empoyed as superintendent of the public schools. The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. C. S. Catlin, living three miles south of Olathe. He is one of Johnson county's best and most talented young men. The bride is a daughter of one of the old time families of the state and is an accomplished young lady. The Independent joins with a Mr. Catlin and his young bride a successfu voyage through life.
