Della was the youngest of six children born to Arthur J. Jr. and Elsie Ruth (Harmon) York. She married Karl Williams in 1949 and they had four children: David, Richard, Karla and Jeffrey.

Della May York Williams, 76, of Clayton, died August 9, 2008, in Hendricks Regional Health Hospital. She was born March 9, 1932, in Indianapolis to Arthur and Elsie York. Mrs. Williams was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband of almost 60 years, Karl; her children, David (Jodi) Williams, Richard (Barbara) Williams, both of Hazelwood, Karla (Rick) Calvert, Plainfield, Jeffery (Lynn) Williams, Martinsville; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mary Holmes, Greenwood. Services: 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 13 at Weaver & Randolph Funeral Home Clayton with visitation there 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, August 12. Burial: Clayton Cemetery.
