Note The grave is located in Cemetery in Walhalla, Oconee County SC today, but Walhalla was not established until about 1850, and Oconee County was subdivided from Pickens District SC in 1868. Pendleton District SC was the name for the area in 1790 to 1826 when it was subdivided into Anderson and Pickens District SC. It would have been Pickens District SC when Jesse died.
