Burial was in Bethlehem cemetery with Paulk Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Serving as pallbearers were Mayhew Roberts, Alvie Roberts, Billy Roberts, George Dorminy, H.G. Snellgrove and Harmon Norris.
Mrs. Roberts, the former Magnolia Barnes, was born Sept. 1895 in Bishopville, S.C., the daughter of S.S. and Margaret Kelly Barnes.
Survivors include her husband, J. Marvin Roberts, three sons, Pete Roberts and Jimmy Roberts, both of Fitzgerald and Ted Roberts of Jacksonville, Fla.; four daughters, Mrs. R.E. Maner of Chattanooga, Tenn., Mrs. D.D. MacAllister of Sacremento, Calif., Mrs. C.B. Crider of Mayfield, Ky. and Miss Frances Roberts of Fitzgerald.; three sisters, Mrs. B.W. Woodham of Donaldsonville, Mrs. Hattie McLendon of Bishopville, S.C. and Mrs. Gordon Roberts of Fitzgerald, and eight grandchildren.
