Walter Eichar Rites on Friday Afternoon
Coal Yard Operator is taken by Death

Funeral services for Walter Elza Eichar, 52, who died at the Adams county memorial hospital Wednesday afternoon will be held at 2:30 p. m. Friday at the Zwick funeral home, with Rev. F. H. Willard officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery.

Mr. Eichar operated the White Spot Cafe in this city for six years until last August, and in November purchased the Fryback coal yard.

He was born in Mercer county, O., August 31, 1892, the son of Joseph and Laura Partlo-Eichar. He married Laura Springer June 30, 1912 and moved to Decatur in 1921. He was a member of the Hopewell church at Rockford, O., and fraternally was a member of the Elks, Moose and Red Men lodges.

Surviving are the wife, the mother, who lives in Rockford; two daughters, Miss Faye Eichar and Mrs. Harry Brown; two sons, Clois D. and Donn Eichar, all of Decatur; two sisters, Mrs. Howard Kilby of Tucson Ariz. and Mrs. Floyd Woods of Toledo, O.; four brothers, Orville of Los Angeles, Raymond of Rockford, Lloyd of Los Angeles and Carl Eichar of Detroit, Mich.; and two grandchildren.

The body may be viewed at the Zwick funeral home after 7 o'clock this evening.

The members of the Moose lodge are requested to meet at the home at 7:30 this evening and then go to the Zwick funeral home to pay their respects to Mr. Eichar
