Mrs. Lores Lehman Dies Early Sunday

Mrs. Faye Lehman, 45, well known Decatur lady, and wife of Lores Lehman, 740 High street , died at 5:50 o'clock Sunday morning at the Robert Long hospital in Indianapolis .

Mrs. Lehman had been ill with a heart ailment for some time, and underwent open heart surgery Friday morning at the Indianapolis hospital. A second operation was performed late Friday night for a leaky heart valve, and her condition was critical until death.

She was born in Mercer county, O., Jan. 12, 1916, a daughter of Walter and Laura Springer-Eichar, and married to Lores Lehman March 30, 1945. She had lived practically her entire life in Adams county.

Mrs. Lehman served as receptionist for Dr. John B. Spaulding and Dr. H. W. Bohnke, and was a member of the Bethany Evangelical United Brethren church.

Surviving are her husband; one son, Larry Lee Lehman, at home; her mother, Mrs. Floyd Acker of Decatur ; two brothers, Clois Eichar of Decatur , and Donn Eichar of Fort Wayne , and one sister, Mrs. Harry (Nina) Brown of Fort Wayne.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Zwick funeral home, the Rev. F. P. Miller officiating. Burial will be in the Decatur cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 p.m. today until time of the services.
