Vixen was my Daddy's beloved mini pin.
He loved her so much & she was so spoiled. He called her his baby.

Vixen was a gift from his granddaughter Katrina. Daddy named her Vixen after our beloved Rottie, Vixen, who died just prior to Daddy getting this little puppy. She was black & tan like her namesake & acted like she thought she was a big dog.

Vixen was the typical pushy little dog so the rest of us affectionately called her "Devil Dog".
She could do no wrong in Daddy's eyes.

When Daddy would fall asleep in his La-Z-Boy chair watching TV for his afternoon nap she would curl on his lap & nap with him. It was the cutest thing to see.

Vixen suddenly got very ill. She LOVED all food but wouldn't eat. She was hospitalized for 3 days & given an IV with antibiotics. She had all kind of tests & blood work. The Veternarian could not find what caused her condition. On the third day, she slipped into a coma & the Vet did not think she would make it through the day. The family decided it was best for her to go be with Daddy & not suffer from an unknown & devasting illness.

We did find out the cause of Vixen's illness after her death. She had a congenital kidney defect which caused kidney failure.

Special thanks to Renee Rybanski for sponsoring Vixen's Memorial.
