Jerry piloted the C-54's in WWII. He pulled the gliders across the English Channel to France. He again flew the big C -54 for the Berlin Airlift. He was selected from hundreds to act in the movie "The Big Lift" and is listed on IMBD. He was offered a chance to continue a movie career but instead chose to stay in the Air Force. He moved wife and 3 children to Japan and flew in the Korean Conflict as well as driving Marilyn Monroe around base. He retired as a Major in Colorado. Jerry was a man you did not forget. He was a brilliant and funny man and influenced so many and will never be forgotten.
