Family received word yesterday from Taft, California of the death of Ray Houston Glenn, 29. Mr. Glenn was killed last Wednesday in an oilfield accident in Taft, CA.
He was the son of Samuel and Katharine Glenn.
The body will arrive in Springfield tomorrow, accompanied by his wife, the former Alta Bebout and their son Billy Ray 9,
Funeral services for Ray Houston Glenn, 29, former resident of Strafford, will be 2pm Wednesday in the J.W. Klingner Chapel.
Burial will be in Danforth Cemetery.
Survivors are his wife, Alta; one son, Billie Ray; his father, Samuel Glenn; two sisters, Freda Walker and Dorothy Glenn; two aunts, Mrs. J.D. Albers and Mrs. T.A. Bumgarner.
