Alta B. Harrington, 88, of Modesto died Sunday at Vintage Faire Convalescent Hospital.
Mrs. Harrington was a native of Strafford, Mo. She lived in Modesto 53 years. She was a seamstress for Lee's Apparel in Modesto for 50 years. She was a member of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church.
She is survived by her husband, Parker J. Harrington of Modesto; children, Ray Glenn and Gerry Harrington, both of Modesto, and Jean Reimann of Turlock; and five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Salas Brothers Funeral Chapel. Burial will be at Acacia Memorial Park.
No visitation.
