Mrs Rena Frankenberger Adler, known nationally
and locally for her philanthrophy and charitable work died today at her home folling a long illness.
Mrs Adler, 76, of 906 Edgewood Drive was born August 24, 1885, the daughter of the late Phillip and Jennie Moss Frankenberger. She was a member of Temple Israel and sisterhood of the Temple.
Surviving are one daughter,
Miss Jeanette of Charleston; one
son, Ammi H. Adler of Charleston;
one sister, Mrs. Hortense
Eisman of Charleston: two
brothers, Max Frankenberger of
Charleston and Walter Frankenberger
of New Haven, Conn., and
two grandchildren.
Services will be held tomorrow
at 4 p.m. at the residence by
Eabbi Samuel Volkman. Burial
will follow in B'nai Israel Cemetery.
