2nd wife of William R Alexander

Alexander: Margaret E. Nelson was born March 11, 1870 in Sullivan county, Tennessee. At the age of eight she came to Christian county, Missouri where she spent the remainder of her life. On December 15, 1900 she was married to William R. Alexander. To this union were born three children, a daughter, Walba, and two sons, Audrey and Herbert, all of whom are still living. Although she never united with any church, she expressed a faith in her Savior some 21 years ago. She departed this life Tuesday, September 10,1935 at the age of 65 years, 5 months and 29 days. She leaves to mourn her death, three children, Mrs. Walbe Case and Herbert Alexander of Garison and Audrey Alexander of Sparta, her husband W. R. Alexander of Garrison, three sisters, Mrs. Amanda Corvine of St. John, Kansas, Mrs. Tennie Stevens of Garrison and Mrs. Callie Stevens of Garrison, four grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, September 11th, at 2:30 P. M. in the Garrison church by Rev. Roy Shipman with burial in Garrison cemetery under direction of T. B. Chaffin of Ozark.
