New Decatur Advertiser July 18, 1902
Died at her home in West Decatur Saturday, July 12, 1902, Mrs, J. T. Brewer, wife of Bond Block saloon keeper, aged 23 years, after a month of child bed fever. The remains were interred in the city cemetery Sunday afternoon, July 13th. Mr. and Mrs. Brewer recently moved from Hartselle to New Decatur. (Survivors - husband John Thomas Brewer and daughter Mattie Kathleen Brewer)

Susan was the sister to James Franklin Miller. He was married to my GGrandmother's sister, Ellen Amanda Jarrett.

Daughter of Isaac "Ike" Miller and Susan Jones/Miller. Born in So. Pittsburg, Marion County, TN - died in Decatur, Morgan County, AL.

She and John had two children, Mattie Kathleen Brewer/Lee and an infant who did not survive.
