Clifton H. Case, 84, of Adamsville, died on Saturday, May 20, 2000, of cancer at Tri-County Convalescent Home in Adamsville. He was a farmer, member of West Shiloh Baptist Church, and WWII Army Veteran.
Services were held on Monday, May 22, at 3 p.m. at Shackelford Chapel in Adamsville. Burial was in Gilchrist Cemetery near Adamsville with Bro. Jerry Woods officiating. Pallbearers were Travis Dixon, Tracy Dixon, Todd Dixon, Chris Jones, Charlie Jones and William Hodge.
Mr. Case was the son of the late Charlie and Nettie Dunlap Case. He was preceded in death by his sister Mildred McCadden. He is survived by his wife, Gelda Gray Case of Adamsville; one daughter, Carolyn Jones of Adamsville; one son, Thomas Case of Adamsville; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
