Singer, Radio Executive. A native of Montreal, Quebec, Girardin's music career began in 1956 when he joined the cabaret "La Cave." In an active recording career that lasted until 1968, he recorded five albums and is best remembered for songs such as "J'ai rêvé dans tes bras," "Tu resteras dans mon coeur," "Un p'tit bécot," and "Mon coeur qui bat." In 1968 he was hired as director of promotions and public relations for the radio station CKVL, a post he held until 1972. He later returned to radio as the host of CKLM's "Show-biz 90." In 1993 he was appointed CEO of Chez-Nous des Artistes, a retirement home for retired performers, which he served as until 1998 when he returned to performing until his retirement in 2006.
