D. KNIGHT, PIONEER, DIES
Farmer Came to Spokane County 39 Years Ago
David Knight, 75, a retired farmer, died yesterday morning at his home, W 1214 Carlisle avenue, after a lingering illness. Mr. Knight was a native of Pennsylvania, but had lived in Spokane county for 39 years.
He is survived by the widow, Mrs. Martha Knight and four children, Mrs. Gertrude Stalwich, Spokane; Mrs. Fannie Geise of Fleet, Alberta; Mrs. Bessie Smith, Pine City, Wash., and Glen Knight of Tekoa.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow from Hazen & Jaeger's and will be conducted by the Rev. L. F. Clipp of the Church of Christ. Burial will be in the Spangle cemetery.
