Levi Reichard died near New Freedom at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Houston. Death was due to a cerebral hemorrhage. Levi was a former resident of Railroad and the husband of the late Sevilla J. Keeney Reichard. In addition to his daughter, he is also survived by sons Elmer of Railroad and Oscar of Wilmington, DE.

Aug 12 the viewing and funeral service were held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Houston. Many relatives and friends today attended the funeral. Services were conducted at the Houston home at 10:30 a.m. after which interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery at Shrewsbury. Rev M.E. Dearhold, pastor of the Maryland
Line Methodist Protestant charge, officiated. The pallbearers were Theodore Reichard, Cornell Reichard, Melvin Houston, Oscar Reichard, Harold Houston and
Palmer Reichard, all grandsons of the deceased.

REICHARD - On Wednesday, Aug. 10, 1932, at the residence of his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Albert J. Houston, New Freedom. R. D. Levi, beloved husband of the late Sevilla Reichard.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services at the above residence on Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock (E.S.T) Interment in Lutheran cemetery, hrewsbury, Pa.

Body can be viewed at the above residence on Thursday evening.

LEVI REICHARD DIES NEAR NEW FREEDOM

New Freedom, Aug 10 - As a result of a stroke of paralysis, which he suffered a week ago, Levi Reichard died today at 12:40 a.m. at the home of his son-in-law
and daughter, Mrs. and Mrs. Albert J. Houston, New Freedom, R.D. Death was due to cerebral hemorrhage. He was a former resident of Railroad borough. The deceased, who was aged 73 years, leaves these sons and daughters: Elmer Reichard, Railroad; Oscar Reichard, Wilmington, Del; and Mrs. Albert J. Houston, New Freedom. The following brothers and sisters also survive: Adam and William Reichard, Glen Rock; Mrs. Caroline Falkenstein, Jacobus; Mrs. John Shaffer, Seven Valleys; Mrs. Fred Foust, Mrs. William Stough and Miss Clara Reichard, Glen Rock.

Hartenstein and Company, funeral directors, removed the body from the Houston home to their funeral parlors and prepared it for burial. It will be returned to the Houston home Thursday afternoon. The funeral will be held Friday with services at the Houston residence at 10:30 a.m. (EST), after which interment will be made ~~~~ Shrewsbury. Rev. M. E. Dearhold, pastor of the Maryland Line Methodist Protestant charge, will officiate.
