27 Aug 1915: Christian Harnish, a widely known and highly respected citizen of Myerstown passed away at his residence on Thursday, following a long illness, suffering from general debility. Deceased was a retired farmer and was a resident of Myerstown for many years. He was aged 82 years. Besides his wife there survive the following children: Henry, Dayton, Ohio; Martin, near Stouchsburg; Frank, Mt. Zion; Daniel, Mt. Aetna; Alexander, Mrs. Samuel Diffenbach, Myerstown; and Maria, at home. Mrs. Jacob Light of Leemaster, Franklin County, is a sister. [Lebanon Daily News]
