"Mutt" was born the son of Bessie Fisher Foy of Wilmington and the late Vura K. Foy, Sr. He was preceded in death by sister, Geraldine Lutterloah. Mr. Foy was a member of First Advent Christian Church and retired as an electrician from CP&L. He played in the Senior Citizen Softball League (Gold's Gym Team), loved to surf fish, and had a love of flowers and growing plants. Surviving in addition to his mother is his wife, Grace Morgan Foy; four children, Wanda Foy Long and husband Clint, Vera Foy Mintz and husband Leslie, Michael Foy and wife Robin, and Judy F. Jones and husband Ronnie; six grandchildren, Shelly, Clint Jr., Emily, Scott, Ryan, and David; one brother, William Douglas Foy. He died at Cypress Pointe Rehabilitation and Health Care Center.
