Mr. Giles was born March 7, 1950, in Colquitt County to Paul E. Giles and Louise Wells Giles, both of whom preceded him in death.
Mr. Giles served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam war. He was employed by C & S Builders in Ty Ty as a general contractor. He liked to fish and coon hunt and he loved boating. Mr. Giles was a hard-working man who loved his children, his grandchildren and his family. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Ty Ty.
Mr. Giles is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Stephanie and Scott Griffin of Fitzgerald and Katie Louise and John Robinson of Fort Campbell, Ky.; two sons, Eric Giles and Ben Giles, both of Tifton; five grandchildren, Jonathan Giles, Christopher Giles, Jenna Griffin, Hailey Robinson and Reid Robinson; two sisters and two brothers-in-law, Barbara and Sidney Thomas of Omega and Peggy and Ken Dillard of Ty Ty; two brothers and one sister-in-law, Tony and Sylvia Giles of Franklin, N.C., and Phillip Giles of Lexington, Ky.; and a special friend, his dog, Boo.
