On Sunday morning, February 22, 1925, the death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Clarke, and claimed for its own their oldest son, Daniel Webster, making his stay on earth 22 years.
On February 12, he was taken sick with flue and pneumonia coupled with gastric fever and jaundice, only living ten days. Funeral services were conducted at Camp Branch Church
