Jackie was born to Phil and Olga Stephens.
She passed away peacefully at her home, Tuesday with her family by her side after a lengthy illness.
Jackie finished high school in 1949 at Lutcher Stark High School and was a member of the Bengal Guards.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Orange since 1961 and was employed by Sears for fifteen years. She was also an avid bridge player.
In 1950, she married her husband of 58 years, H. Dale Thompson.
She was also survived by son, Hammon D. Thompson and wife Glenda; son, Stephen W. Thompson and wife Cynthia; daughter, Cyndi Tindel and husband Jack; and five grandchildren, Wesley, Lacy, Kimberly, and Taylor Thompson and Jack H. Tindel III. She also leaves her twin sister, Gerry Frensley and husband Bob; her brother-in-law, Fred J Thompson and wife Darleen; sister-in-law, Darlene Thompson and numerous nieces and nephews.
