Louisa (Louise) Desrosiers, was born between 1858 and 1861, the daughter of Joseph Desrosiers and Josephine Comtois Derosier. She was married on October 21,1884 in Westborough, MA to Daniel Movey Lamouraux who was born in 1846 in Canada and died in 1918. He was the son of Francis & Julie (Grenier) Movey Lamoraux, who were both born in Canada. Louise died in 1917 in Northborough, MA.

Louise & Daniel adopted her brother's infant daughter Hattie, after the baby's mother died. Louisa and Daniel had no other children besides Hattie, but they were very good to their nieces and nephews. One niece, Lillie, explained it this way, "I loved to go to her house. She was always cooking something and it smelled so good. She would give us donuts and cookies. I remember how happy I was carrying home an apron full of cookies." There is a story about Louise and her niece online.

Also, Louise's 1895 photograph album is in the possession of Derosier descendants and is the source of many old pictures entered on find-a-grave.
