Clara E. Dahl, 81, 316 28th St. N., once a nurse at the Anaconda Co. smelter, died Saturday night at a local hospital.
She was born at Fort Wayne, Ind., and came to Cut Bank in 1915. Two years later she moved to Great Falls to enroll in the nurses training school at Deaconess hospital. After she graduated in 1919, she worked two years for a local physician, then in 1926 she joined the Anaconda medical staff. She worked at the smelter until her retirement in 1968, after 32 years with the company.
She married Raymond C. Dahl in 1924 and he died in 1969. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
