The elder Mr. Williams had spoken of going to see his son, William Williams, on Kent Island, but recent letters show that he has not arrived there. He Is a ship carpenter by trade, but has not worked recently, his eyesight being somewhat Impaired.

Alexander Williams Drowned. The body of Alexander Williams, aged fifty-eight years, of 1527 Hanover street, was found floating at the foot of Cross street yesterday by William Lightman. Mr. Williams had been missing from bis home since December 29, 1S9S. He was a enrpenter and the father of Patrolman John E. Lewis, of the southern district.
