He died in Ypsilanti, Washtenaw, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Bonnalyn E. (Bryan) Granger, daughter, Doris Jane McWatters, son, Brian, and granddaughter, JoAnn McWatters, all of Ypsilanti, Michigan.
Funeral service were on January 31, 1984 at Wagner-Stark; Moore Memorial Chapel with Rev, James E. Tuttle of St. Matthew's United Methodist Church officiating. Burial followed at Arborcrest Memorial Park Cemetery, Ann Arbor, Michigan.
