She was a resident of North Little Rock for about 67 years. Lanelle, known affectionately by her family and friends as "Mom", was a strong Christian and a prayer warrior. Not a day went by that she didn't pray by name for those who were sick, hurt or in need. Her faith touched every family member and many friends, encouraging them in their walk with the Lord.
In her early years she was a charter member of 47th Street Baptist Church where she taught a women's Sunday School class for 30 years. For many years she has been a charter member of Sherwood Bible Church.
Even though her family was spread across the United States, she loved the reunions and gatherings, times when everyone would congregate, eat, play and laugh. Lanelle will be missed terribly, but her love will continue to touch lives through those she has influenced.
Survived by two sisters, Robbie Mills of Conway, and Bernice Faust of Fort Smith; three daughters, Luanne Mello of Dallas, TX; Doris Easarsky of Hot Springs Village; Kathy Williams of North Little Rock; one son, David Middlebrooks of Maumelle; 16 grand children and 37 great grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 PM, Monday March 9th, 2009 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 JFK Blvd, North Little Rock. Tel. 501-791-7400. Rev.
