Cecil Gliniecki Dies at Age 66

Rites Will Be Held Thursday Morning

Stratford - Cecil Gliniecki, 66, of 204 N. Vine Ave. Marshfield died Monday evening of a heart condition.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Adalbert's Catholic Church in the town of McMillan. The Rev. Joseph Keating of Stratford will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.

The body will repose at the Sauder Funeral Home beginning this evening. The Holy Name Society will recite the rosary tonight at 8 p.m. The Rosary Altar Society will say the rosary at 3 p.m. Wednesday and a parish rosary will be said at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Gliniecki was born at Ashland, Dec. 25, 1892. He came to the Stratford area when he was 19 and farmed in the town of Eau Pleine until 1950 when he moved to Marshfield, where he was employed at the Roddia Plywood Corporation until 1957 when he retired.

He married the former Jennie Gostomski on Jan 13, 1919 at Fancher, Wis.

Surviving are his wife; five daughters, Mrs Ben Zaleski, and Mrs. Jack Leonhardt Jr. both of the town of Eau Pleine; Mrs Norbert Anderson, Mrs Reuben Fiacher, Milwaukee, and Mrs. Bernard Dick, Marshfield; two sons, Reuben and Charles both of the town of Eau Pleine, 24 grandchildren; his mother Mrs. Martha Gliniecki, town of Eau Pleine; seven sisters, Mrs. Adam Gawlikoski, Mrs. Kate Schafick, town of Eau Pleine, Mrs. Myron Zygarlicka, Marshfield, Mrs Edward Mobert, Mrs. James Mandee, Mrs Angeline Harpst, Chicato Il, Mrs Frank Gostomski, Thorp, and one brother, John Gliniecki, town of Eau Pleine.
