Dr. Ebright, Former Dean At Baker, Dies
LAWRENCE, Kan. (AP) — Dr. Homer Kingsley Ebright, 85, former dean of the college at Baker University, Baldwin, died Wednesday at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. He underwent an operation Monday.
Ebright was professor of Biblical literature and Greek 46 years at Baker. Dean of the college 14 years, he retired in 1950.
His book, "The history of Baker University," was published in 1953.
Survivors include his widow and a daughter, Elizabeth Ebright, head librarian at Washburn University in Topeka.
Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at First Methodist Church, Baldwin.
