Dixmont – Alexander Tees, 86, of Dixmont, died Monday evening, November 25, 1963, at a Bangor hospital after a brief illness. He was born at Presque Isle, December 30 1876, the son of Alexander and Frances (Wescott) Tees.
He had been a resident of Dixmont for the past 33 years. Mr. Tees was a member of Plymouth Grange.
Survivors are his widow, Mrs. Lovina (Erskine) Tees of Dixmont, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the Dixmont Corner Methodist Church Wednesday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. F. Ernest Smith, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in the family lot at North Dixmont Cemetery.
