FERRIS VALENTINE, 68, DIES FRIDAY
PENDLETON - Ferris Valentine, 68, RR 1, Lapel, died Friday morning at his farm home southeast of Lapel.
Valentine was born in Madison County on June 22, 1890, and was the son of James and Sarah Schuyler Valentine. He had spent his entire life in this vicinity.
Surviving are: the widow, Rose G. Flowers Valentine; a son, Carroll, RR 1, Lapel; three grandchildren, and two sisters, Mrs. Dana Adams, RR 1, Pendleton, and Mrs. Christine Wiseman, Lapel.
The body was taken to the Cornell Bright Funeral Home here where friends are being received.
Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home with burial in the Grove Lawn Cemetery at Pendleton.
