John Allen, Jr., was born March 18, 1938 to Alma Conway Allen and John Allen, Sr., in Delta Point, Louisiana. John was baptized in 1977 under the leadership of Rev. Robert Hunter.

John was a loving husband and good provider for his wife and family. He retired from Silver State Disposal Services after 20 years as a truck driver.

John is preceeded in death by his parents, Alma Conway Allen and John Allen, Sr., son Bobby Lee Allen, brother Willie Allen,Sr., sister Juanita M. Allen-Clay, and granddaughter Rochelle Allen

John leaves to mourn his wife, Alvenia, four childern, Glenn Allen, Sr., Donna M. Allen, Stanley L. Allen and Melissa Allen all of Las Vegas, two sisters, Herkey L. Scott and Barbara Allen, one brother, Robert Allen, thirteen grandchildren, a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning. We thank God for the joy that God allowed John to bring into our lives.
