ROBINSON -- Alma Remmick, 73, Robinson, died June 16, 1996, in a Bismarck hospital. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church, Robinson, with the Rev. Ray Martin officiating. Burial will be in Frettim Township Cemetery, rural Robinson.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 p.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday at Eastgate Steele Memorial Chapel. Visitation will continue at the church one hour before services.
Alma Schumacher was born March 3, 1923, in Frettim Township, the daughter of Jacob and Mary Aichele Schumacher. She was raised and educated in Frettim Township. Alma married Rudolph Remmick, June 29, 1939, in Steele. They lived on a farm north of Robinson. Alma also worked at Robinson Public School as a cook for 13 years. Alma enjoyed sewing, crocheting and canning. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her husband, Rudolph; one son and daughter-in-law, Marvin and Nadine, Robinson; two daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Ann and Dale Dehne, Robinson, and Elsie and LaVerne Wolff, Chaseley; 13 grandchildrn; 1 great-grandchildren; one foster son and foster daughter-in-law, Blaine and Carla Schaible, and their family, Rhonda, David and Shanna; one brother and sister-in-law, Alvin and Lorraine Schumacher, Robinson; and two sisters and one brother-in-law, Donna Berg, Bismarck, and Irene and Elvin Patzner, Robinson.
She was preceded in death by one son, David Lee Remmick, in infancy, and her parents.
