Youngest of 13 children born to Harry H. Clark and Florence A. Otstott. She married 4 April 1948 at the Old Opry House in Petersburg, Menard County Illinois on roller skates to Dwight Gerald Preston of Jacksonville, Morgan County Illinois. She resided in Petersburg, Menard County Illinois and was a waitress at Watkins Cafe in Petersburg. She died in a car crash after being crushed by the car driven by her boy friend. She left one son an infant son David and was survived by five brothters, two sisters and her parents of Petersburg, Illinois.
