Ann Tinker was baptized New Windsor, Berkshire, 21 July 1616, daughter of Robert and Mary (Merwin) Tinker. She married Thomas Tinker at St. Margaret Moses, London, 23 April 1633 Mather described her as an "affectionate mother." She was living as late as 6 March 1676/7 when Thornton presented his "best respects with my wife's" to Rev. Mather.
They had 9 known children: Thomas, Priscilla, Ann, Mary Thatcher, Samuel, Timothy, Thomas, Theophilis, Anne Hall.
