Funeral services were to be today at 3 p.m. at Laughlin-Service Chapel for Alton Claud Blount, 81, 115 West Clinton Ave., who died Monday, Oct. 19, 1987 in a Huntsville hospital. The Rev. Coy Hallmark was to officiate. Burial in Maple Hill Cemetery, Laughlin-Service Funeral Home, Huntsville, in charge.
He is survived by one step-son, Rev. Eugene Drake, Houston. Texas; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
