Reading, February 19.-Fire was discovered this morning in Delong and Co.'s tannery. The flames were confined to the large stock of leather, most of which was ready for market. The loss will reach about $18,000, and is partly covered by insurance.

John DeLong, aged about 60 years, died at his residence, 2253 North Broad street, Philadelphia. The remains will be brought to this city on Tuesday morning for interment. Undertaker Hunter Henninger is in charge.

The funeral of John DeLong., of 2253 North Broad street, Philadelphia, took place today from the residence of Jacob B. Fricker, 214 North Sixth street. The body was brought to this city on the 10 a.m. train on the Reading road. Rev. Davies, Philadelphia, held services at the house. The remains were attired in a black suit, patent leather slippers, while cloth blanket and lay in a black broadcloth cedar copper lined casket with oxidized extension bar handles and plate bearing name and age. Interment was made in Charles Evans Cemetery. Undertaker Henninger had charge.
