English Nobility. Richard Le Scrope (born on 31 May 1393 in Bolton, Wensleydale, Yorkshire, England) was the eldest son of Roger Le Scrope, 2nd Lord Scrope of Bolton. He became Lord Scrope of Bolton at the age of 9, after his father's death (3rd December, 1402). He became a ward of Ralph Neville, 1st Earl of Westmoreland.
He married on 31st December, 1413 in Raby, Durham, England Margaret Neville (born June, 1396, in Raby, Durham, England; died 1463; buried before 3 March, 1464, Chrch Astn Friar, Clare, Suffolk, England), daughter of Ralph de Neville and Margaret de Stafford. The Baron and Baroness had two sons:
* Henry Le Scrope who was born in 1418 and became 4th Baron Scrope of Bolton
* Richard Le Scrope who became Bishop of Carlisle
He fought at Agincourt in 1415.
He was killed at the Siege of Rouen on the 29th August, 1420. He was buried in St. Agatha, Yorkshire, England.
