Note: Joseph was born in April 1878, not 1879 as shown on his gravestone. Per the 1900 census, he was born in April 1878. When he married (September 1901), he gave his age as 23 years, so born [April] 1878. His next sibling, John Forsyth, was born in November 1879. Also, per his death certificate, he died on September 13, 1906 and not on the 12th, as shown on his gravestone. [Don Ludwig, 21 January 2021]
