Richard D. Suggs, 75, of 3618 Delradia, died at 12:50PM yesterday in a local hospital following a long illness. A native of Edna, he had been a resident of Corpus Christi 40 years. He was a retired cattleman. Survivors include his wife, Maggie; his mother, Mrs. William J. Suggs of Houston; three sons, James, Richard, and Bob Suggs, all of Corpus Christi; five daughters, Mrs. Thelma Williamson, Mrs. Grady Power, and Mrs. Lacy Smith, all of Corpus Christi, Mrs Howard Craine of Houston, and Mrs Catherine Hurst of Mount Vernon, Wash; a brother, Butler Suggs of Houston; three sisters, Mrs. T. B. Robinson, Mrs. Claude Elliott, and Mrs. Carol Woods, all of Houston; 20 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 10:00AM tomorrow at Ross Langham Mortuary Chapel with Rev. H. W. Bartlett, pastor of Parkway Baptist Church, officiating. Burial will be in Seaside Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Tom Graham, Ed Graham, Ed Agitzberg, Joe F. Mosley, J.T. Mahoney, and W. R. Bane.
