Mr Charles Apple, a guest at Sunshine Country Manor, Fallentimber, formerly of Hollentowwn, Altoona, and Venice Fla., died April 17, 1994 at the manor. Mr Apple reired as a machinist from the Pensylvania Railroad. He was born Feb 14, 1905, in Hollentown, the son of Theodore and Rosa Belle (Hollen) Aple. He married Edna M. Caldwell on June 11, 1927 in Cumberland, Md. Surviving are his wife, three children: T. Merle, Harold E, and Virginia K Martin; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are two sisters and a brother: Lillian A George, Mabel Glasgow, and Joseph. Mr Apple was a member of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Hollentown, and a former member of Grace United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by two brothers: Frank and Howard, and three sisters: Emma Chilcote, Annabelle Kleinmeyer, and Verna Korman. Interment at Blair Memorial Park,Bellwood.
