Funeral 11:00 A.M. Saturday, March 28, 2009 at the First Christian Church with Dr. James Blaylock and Rev. Rob Shrader Officiating.

Age 82

Gladys Marcum Massey, age 82, of Keavy Road, London, Kentucky, passed away on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at her residence. She was a Daughter of the late Garrett and Amanda (Pennington) Marcum, born to them on March 4, 1927 in Oneida in Clay County, Kentucky.

Mrs. Massey along with her Husband, C.T. Owned and Operated a Distributor Business for Oil & Gas, before their retirement; and was a Member of the First Christian Church of London, Kentucky. On January 3, 1947, She united to C. T. Massey, and to this union: a Son: Kenneth (Buster) and a Daughter: Elaine were born. She was preceded in death alone with her Parents; by her Husband, C. T. Massey on August 10, 2004; Her Three Sisters: Hazel Marcum, Thelma Huston and Irene Simms; and by her Niece: Barbara Baldin.

Mrs. Massey is survived by her loving family: Her Son: Kenneth (Buster) Massey and Wife, Barbara; and Elaine (Massey) Morgan and Husband, Jim both of London, Kentucky. Her Four Grandchildren: Doug House and Wife, Robin; Amy Brock and Husband, Shane; Laura Jones and Husband, Nathan; and Shelley Coots and Husband, Randy. Her Seven Great Grandchildren: Holly, Walker, Lauren, Ethan, Hadley Rose, Lucas and Levi; and many other Realtives and Dear Friends to mourn her passing.

Pallbearers will be: Doug House, Nathan Jones, Randy Coots, Shane Brock, Jerald Gilbert and David Coffey.

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the: London Rotary Club C.T. Massey Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1661, London, Kentucky 40743 in loving Memory of Gladys Marcum Massey.
