Twin Falls Times News, Jan. 1, 1984. BUHL - Keith Stiegemeier, 58, of Buhl, died Thursday afternoon at a Boise hospital, following a short illness. Born Sept. 14, 1925, in Harvard, Neb., he attended schools in Nebraska. He moved with his parents to Kimberly in 1940 and was a graduate of Twin Falls High School. After serving in the Navy during World War II, he returned to the area and worked for the Cornelli Seed Co. in Twin Falls. He married Melba Jagels at Clover on April 4, 1948. The moved to the Buhl area in 1953, and he had farmed since that time. Mr. Stiegemeier was a member of the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church and the American Simmental Cattle Association. Surviving are his wife of Buhl; two sons, Larry Stiegemeier of Buhl and Darryl Stiegemeier of Rathdrum; his father, Henry Stiegemeier of Buhl; a brother, Neil Stiegemeier of Buhl; and a grandson. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Clover Trinity Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Andrew Loesel officiating. Burial will be in Clover Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hopkins-Buhl Funeral Chapel on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 5 p.m. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to a memorial wreath, in care of Charles Giddings, Gary Schroeder or Melvin Jagels.
