Frances Fitzwilliam McPhaul is my Great GrandMother.
She is the daughter of Capt. James William Fitzwilliam and Nancy Cartwright Fitzwilliam
She married John McPhaul on Feb. 6, 1894 in Bastrop County, Texas
She was the mother of 6 boys: Francis "Frank" McPhaul, John Joseph "Joe" McPhaul,Sr. (My Grandfather), Julius Andre "Jule" McPhaul, Alexander "Alec" McPhaul, Thomas Fitzwilliam "Tom" McPhaul and Henry Brooks McPhaul
Her 5 week old son, Henry Brooks, preceded her in death in August of 1905.
She died 3 days after her 34 birthday of typhoid fever complications. Her sister, Nancy Fitzwilliam, helped raise her boys after her death.
