Burnell Richard Dwyer, 72, of Conemaugh Township died Monday (Aug. 4, 2003) in his home.

Born Aug. 20, 1930, in Nowrytown, he lived in Conemaugh Township all of his life.

A veteran, he served with the Marines as a Sergeant.

Mr. Dwyer was a security guard at Tonoma Lines before retiring in 2003.

Survivors include a daughter; two brothers, Earl Dwyer of Brownstown and Donald (Martha) Dwyer of Blairsville; and three sisters, Jean (Leslie) Reigh of South Bend, Mona Blystone of North Apollo and Marlene Nagg of Clarksburg.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond S. and Zelma Yeager Dwyer; and four brothers, Marlin, Ronald and Mansel Dwyer and Russel Yeager

Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Thursday in CURRAN FUNERAL HOME, 701 St., Saltsburg. The Rev. Rick Helsel will officiate. Burial will be in Nowrytown Cemetery, Nowrytown. Visit www.curranuneralhome.com
