Funeral Services for Mrs. Gus Soefje, nee Bertha Behrendt, were held Sunday, September 19, at the Leesville Methodist Church, with burial following in Leesville Cemetery.
Mrs. Soefje died Friday, September 17. She was 91. The Rev. M. H. Jackson officiated at the funeral.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Hulda Burris andMrs. Hilda Bond of Leesville, and Mrs. Martha Ulrich of Kingsbury; three sons, Louie, Willie, and Dono Soefje, all of Leesville; a sister, Mrs. Emma Schubert of Geronimo; 15 grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
