EMMA CAROLINE DAY
"Emma Caroline Day, 79, widow of Thomas J. Day, Oregon City, died at the home of her daughter in Portland Saturday morning. She was born in Kansas on January 23, 1868.
Surviving are five sons, A.D. and Boyce Day, Oregon City; Dhrell, Royal O., and Lynden V. Day, all of Nebraska; two daughters, Mrs. L. H. Ellis and Mrs. E.O. Smith, Portland, and three brothers, A.G. Vaught, Wyoming; Bert Vaught, Auborn, Wash., and Waties Vaught, Kansas.
Final rites will be held at the Holman, Hankins and Rilance Funeral Chapel at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, followed by burial in Greenwood Hills Cemetery, Portland."
