AUBREY DWIGHT DAY
Funeral services for Aubrey Dwight Day will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Hillside Chapel. The Rev. Leo Epperson will officiate. Entombment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Mr. Day died Monday in a local hospital after a short illness. He was 74.

Day was born May 15, 1910, in Selbert, Colo. He had lived in Oregon City since 1941.

He was formerly employed as a salesman with Dee Thomason Ford, and was once the owner of Day Heating in Oregon City.

Day held memberships with the Church of Christ in Oregon City and the Multnomah Lodge No. 1, AF & AM.

He is survived by his wife, Alice; a son, Larry of Pilot Rock; two daughters, Carolyn Day and Cheryl Allphin, both of Oregon City; a sister, Gladys Smith of Portland; and five grandchildren.

The family requests that donations be made to the Cancer Society.

All funeral arrangements are being handled by the Hillside Chapel in Oregon City.
