Mrs. Cary Ice, wife of E.D. Ice of Glover Gap, died Tursday morning at the family residence after a brief illness.
The decesed was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Reed and was born on July 28, 1880, in Earnshaw where she resided during her early life.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two children, Lester Ice of Clinton, Md.; and Dale Ice of Glover Gap. Mrs. Gemi Snider of Kansas and Mrs. Eses Ensiminger are sisters of the deceased.
Mrs. Ice attended the Universalist church at Earnshaw.
Mr. and Mrs. Ice have been residents of Glover Gap for 28 years.
The remains are the Jones Funeral home in Mannington and will remain there until time for the funeral services which will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Rev. S. C. Blackburn will officiate and burial will be made in the Mannington Memorial Park cemetery by W. F. Jones.
